Birth Places
For each listed person a place of birth is given. It will consist of up to 5 items. For Irish births these are: Detail, Townland, Civil Parish, County, Country.
A birth record may look like any of the following:

| Co Leitrim, Ireland | County, Country | All that is known or assumed is that the person is that the person was born in a specific county in Ireland |
| Cloone, Co Leitrim, Ireland | Civil Parish, County, Country | All that is known or assumed is that the person was born within a particular civil parish within the county in Ireland |
| Kilmakenny, Cloone, Co Leitrim, Ireland | Townland, Civil Parish, County, Country | The townland or street of birth is known |
| Doogra, Kilmakenny, Cloone, Co Leitrim, Ireland | Detail, Townland, Civil Parish, County, Country | The specific location within the townland is known |
